We are eagerly anticipating our biennial Preaching and Ministry Conference, April 9-11, 2024, and are looking forward to an edifying and encouraging time together.
The conference begins with the 6:00 service on Tuesday evening and concludes after the Thursday evening service. For those who are able to arrive early, we will be serving supper at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening, and will have a dessert fellowship following the service. Registration will open at 4:00 p.m. Before and after supper should provide ample time to get registered and set up your ministry displays.
We will have morning services Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 9:00 a.m., and Tuesday through Thursday evenings beginning at 6:00. Occasionally, guests are able to come in early and be a part of our Sunday services, and we are honored by that.
We will anticipate hearing from at least sixteen different preachers during the conference, with two messages each evening and at least five each morning. Included in our schedule will be sessions dealing with practical areas of the ministry.
The church will be providing supper each evening and lunch on Wednesday and Thursday. It is very important that you register in advance to aid our volunteers in preparing. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know!
There are only two motels in our town, Pinemark and Super 8. Located about five minutes from the church, Pinemark is owned and operated by a Christian family, and is the facility we recommend. Ask for their conference rate at (636) 629-1000 or use this link to Pinemark’s page to view the rooms and receive the conference rates. Pinemark has blocked a good number of rooms for us until February 1, 2024. After that date, you may still use the link, but availability may be limited. There are other motels in communities about 15 miles from us.
If you need transportation from St. Louis Lambert Field, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Independent Baptist missionaries, ministries and publishers of like mind are encouraged to bring displays and materials (literature, music, books, etc.). We want to encourage the writing of sound Baptist material.
Please call the church office for any additional questions you may have.
We pray the Lord will make it possible for you to attend.
